This scorecard was developed by Darren McFarlane, founder of Next Level Mentoring, who has designed and delivered mentoring programs for government agencies and ASX20 companies over the past five years. His program with the WA Department of Water and Environmental Regulation has run for four consecutive years, achieving a 39% mentee promotion rate with 9 out of 10 mentoring pairs continuing to meet after the program formally ends.
The questions are based on the factors that consistently determine whether mentoring programs succeed or fail.
